Contact Flooring are resin flooring contractors for factories and warehouses across the UK. We prepare, install and mark out resin floors for manufacturers, distribution centres and logistics buildings, and we repair the concrete and resin floors they already have.
Our head office is in Hyde, Greater Manchester, with offices in the North West and the Midlands, and we have over 20 years' experience in industrial flooring. Whether you need a single goods-in area coated or several thousand square metres of production or storage floor, the starting point is the same: a site survey, then a system chosen for the traffic, spills and cleaning the floor will actually face.
Factory resin flooring has to cope with oil and coolant spills, cleaning chemicals, wet processes, dropped tools and forklift routes, often in the same building. We match a system to each production area and plan the work around shutdowns.
Warehouse resin flooring deals with forklifts turning on the spot, pallet trucks running the same lines all day, racking point loads and dusting concrete. A warehouse rarely needs one finish throughout, so racking aisles, loading bays, pick areas and walkways are specified separately.
Industrial resin flooring is a range of systems, from thin seals to thick trowelled screeds. Choosing the right one depends on traffic, chemical exposure, slip resistance, cleaning and the condition of the slab.
Each industry puts different demands on a floor. Our sector pages explain what we install and why:
Not every floor needs replacing. Broken joints, potholes, cracks and worn or failed coatings can often be repaired so the floor is safe for forklifts and people again, at far less cost and disruption than a new floor.
Nearly all resin floor failures come down to poor preparation. We prepare slabs mechanically, by shot blasting, grinding or other methods depending on the surface, with dust extraction connected to the machines. Read more about preparation for resin flooring and concrete floor grinding in warehouses and industrial units.
Once the floor is down, demarcation and signage marks out walkways, forklift aisles, crossing points, hatching and stencils, so the finished floor supports your health and safety layout.
Work can be phased area by area so part of a building stays in use while another part is laid.

We survey the floor, prepare the concrete, carry out repairs, then install a resin system such as an epoxy coating, PU screed or self-smoothing floor, and add line marking where needed.
It depends on the load and how hard the floor is worked. High build coatings suit many warehouse areas, while busy loading bays and heavily trafficked routes often need a PU screed or heavy duty system. We recommend a system after the survey.
Often, yes. Work can be phased so areas are closed one at a time, and planned around shutdowns in factories.
Sometimes. It depends on what the existing coating is and how well it is bonded. Failed or poorly prepared coatings usually need removing back to sound concrete first.
Yes. We install and repair resin floors nationwide across England, Wales and Scotland.
