International Timber (Scotland) 998m2 of high build coating including 38m2 of Walkways including 100mm yellow line marking

What the client wanted to achieve

As an approved contractor for this international timber importer we are now on our 7th project installing slip resistant coatings and walkways to meet the companies new health and safety roll out programme, the width of the walkways needed to be 1.2 metres in total edged with a 100mm wide safety yellow lines.

The Solution

With just 3 days to complete the works we first shot blasted the areas, 2 coats of a hard wearing epoxy coating was then installed in Mid grey incorporating a small aggregate to help with slip resistance, Following on from the epoxy coating installations we then installed green walkways at 1.2mm which included 100mm lines edged to the walkways in safety yellow, as with all of the projects with this group the manager of the facility was happy and the areas were put into production Monday morning as promised.
