What the client wanted to achieve

We were contacted by this client for an urgent repair due to a health and safety requirement. The work was carried out over a weekend using an epoxy based repair mortar.

The solution 

Once Contact Flooring and the client had agreed the work, we taped off the area and proceeded to heavily grind and remove all of the excess damage resulting in the middle of the area being almost 40mm in depth. We first installed a scratch coat heavily filled with silica sand and then finally installed a high build coating to give a reusable fit for purpose area.
